We currently have two opportunities within the Adult Social Care Finance Team for Direct Payment Finance Officer roles based in Wat Tyler House in the main Swindon Council Offices in Beckhampton Street, Swindon.


Your next role


Desirably from a Credit Control, or Purchase/Sales Ledger finance background, you should be educated with a minimum of 4 GCSE's including Math's and English at grade C or above or equivalent.

Organised with an ability to prioritise your workload efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines, highly motivated, flexible and adaptable. Computer literate with expertise in using spreadsheets (Excel intermediate or advanced) for financial purposes, including reconciliation and accounting. Strong numeracy and analytical skills coupled with excellent communication skills are a must for this role.


The successful applicants will be team players with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and a flexible attitude.


  • You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act "for the effective performance of a customerfacing role")._
