GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a successful, growing, and leading regional law firm and we are currently supporting their recruitment for an HR Administrator to provide professional, reliable and efficient HR administrative support to thebusiness, working with the wider HR team to deliver outstanding service and seek to identify areas for continuous improvement, located at their Kidderminster office.

This position is Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm offering a salary of £24,000.


The firm is currently going through an exciting period of change with a new, innovative leadership team, and are looking for energetic and passionate individuals to contribute to their successful future.


We are looking for an individual with experience of working in a similar HR role/environment essential, preferably in Law or professional services.


HR Administrator main duties:

  • You undertake all aspects of HR administration in accordance with procedures, including but not limited to the processing of joiners, leavers, internal changes, maternity, absence, benefits and areas of compliance.
  • Promptly maintain all HR data, records, and information/systems, communicating with key stakeholders as necessary, and producing relevant reports/analysis.
  • Produce a range of correspondence including contracts and HR letters.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding administration, through advertising vacancies, sifting applicants, arranging interviews/formal offers, reference checks and induction planning.
  • Assist in the effective management of resourcing across the firm.
  • Coordinate appraisals and learning/development activity, maintaining records.
  • Provide basic HR policy and best practice advice, helping resolve and escalate appropriate level enquiries/matters.
  • Support the coordination of staff surveys including collation, analysis and evaluation of responses.
  • Participate in project work that adds values to the business and put forward suggestions for HR service/process improvement.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager and team to achieve the department's objectives, including other tasks commensurate to the role.

HR Administrator desired skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar HR role/environment essential (preferably in Law or professional services)
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Willing to learn, is driven and motivated by goals. Puts own ideas forward.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (all methods of communication) and able to influence.
  • Pragmatic and a good sense of client service.
  • Understands and applies the principles of GDPR and confidentiality.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Organised with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT literate, a good grasp of technology and ability to analyse/manipulate data.
