About the role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join Macquarie's Projects and Change Team within the Financial Management Group in EMEA.
You will be responsible for initiating, managing and delivering initiatives to support the strategy of the EMEAFinance and Tax teams.
Ideally, you will have a background in Finance and / or Tax, manual process improvement initiatives, and be confident managing cross functional teams from initiation through project delivery.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Fullservice project management leading and engaging in all project lifecycle phases
- Develop key project artefacts, reporting and communications plans
- Manage cross functional relationships (including at the executive level) across the group
- Work with IT in developing and implementing appropriate technical solutions, where required
- Work with the impacted teams to assess, manage and successfully deliver the change
About you
To be successful, you are university qualified with project management experience, ideally across Finance and / or Tax projects
You will also have:
- The ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to develop complete, accurate and unambiguous documentation
- A flexible, proactive, solutionoriented approach and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A 'can do' attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience motivating leading and influencing a project team of indirect reports
- Prince2 or PMI qualifications are an advantage
- CA/CPA or Tax qualifications are an advantage
