Intermediate/ Senior Electrical Design Engineer

I am working with a small MEP Design Consultancy in the Bristol area, they are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join their talented team of friendly and experienced Building Services & Sustainability Engineers.

They are based in the Southwest of Bristol and can offer the opportunity to become an integral member of the Engineering department.

You'll be working on a variety of exciting and high-profile projects in various sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential & Leisure.

We are looking for a candidate with the following credentials:

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

First class time management and organisational skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent analytical and report writing skills

Willingness to mentor more junior team members, potentially leading to an early line management role.

You should be a well-organised, flexible, driven, forward planner with the ability to deliver work to a high standard and to tight timescales

Attendance at design team, client and site meetings as required.

A strong willingness to learn and a desire to develop new and existing skills

Most importantly, have a good sense of humour, be passionate about our profession and enjoy being part of a team

Experience & Qualifications

HND or Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or similar.

Minimum 4 years engineering experience in Consultancy role post qualification

Undertake detailed electrical engineering building services design using specialist computer-aided design Autocad, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, and other industry software.

Full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel

Knowledge of BREEAM, and low carbon design principles
