Pyramid8 are currently supporting a well-established Plant & Fleet company to recruit a Fleet Fitter to be based at their depot in Castleford.

As a Fleet Fitter you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to fleet.
  • Fault diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical faults found.
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and good working practices within the workshop are followed.
  • Completion of work is via a PDA device to ensure electronic work records.
  • Carrying out minor and major repairs as directed.
  • Identification and capture of damaged fleet at the depot.
  • Daytoday communication across plant office, yard and workshop functions.
  • Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions 'Safely, Healthy, Environmental & Quality'(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to, adopting a safe method of working at all times.
  • Fully qualified plant technician to NVQ2 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme.
  • Experience of working on fleet.
  • Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling.
  • Driving Licence essential.


  • Forklift Licence

  • Training will be given.
  • General plant electrics knowledge desirable.
You will receive a salary of between 28,000 to 32,000, with a potential OTE of £38,000 to £42,000.

You can also take part in their cycle to work scheme. Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40-hour week. There are progression opportunities within the business.


Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
