We are working with a well-established and esteemed secondary school located in the picturesque town of Shrewsbury. Job Description:

As a Science Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage students and foster a love for science.

From biology and chemistry to physics, you will cover a range of topics, helping students develop their understanding of the natural world and scientific principles.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons tailored to the needs of students.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, schemes of work, and assessments.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience for students.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field; PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level, preferably in a similar school setting.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational trends and best practices.
