Norse Groups Support Services division has an excellent opportunity within our HR department for a HR Advisor to join our team in Devon.
The role
As HR Advisor, you will work with the wider team to promote a positive working environment where equality, diversity and inclusivity are embedded whilst providing expert advice to the business giving you responsibility for;
- Performance, disciplinary, grievance and sickness management
- Following group procedure in formal HR meetings, including disciplinary and investigations
- TUPE transfer processes, offering support to HR and operational teams
- Identifying and helping to implement new policies in line with Group changes
You will gain valuable hands-on experience in a multi-disciplined organisation, supported by an experienced and knowledgeable team of HR Managers & Business Partners giving you the opportunity to develop your own skills further.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified, with a commitment to continuous professional development
- Proven experience in a HR generalist roles, with examples of dealing with disciplinary, grievance and sickness
- Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating and influencing
- Ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with all areas of the business
- Any knowledge of working within the public sector of with trade unions would be an advantage
- Ideally, you will have experience supporting HR within a multisite organisation
- Full UK Driving Licence, as this role will involve occasional travel
