Job Mission

To deliver exceptional customer service and offer expert and knowledgeable travel advise.

To meet and exceed Service Level Agreements using the in-house booking tools and tailored systems and represent Egencia as an ambassador of service excellence.

Key Areas of Responsibility- Answering calls from clients within Service Level Agreements- Completion of booking files- Quality Control- Problem Solving- Delivering Deadlines- Use technical experience and customer questioning skills to identify opportunities to achieve 'best value' from the clients spend, through:

  • Sourcing the most appropriate travel solution-
  • To maximize opportunities through the sales of ancillary products
Customer Development - Take an active part in all customer development strategies to continually improve and strengthen the relationship.


Preferred suppliers - Possess a clear understanding of Egencia's preferred supplier policy, using judgment and selling skills to promote suppliers wherever possible.

Bi-annual performance review with manager to review performance and discover opportunities for training and personal development

Attend training courses to keep up to date on product and system knowledge

Any other tasks as advised by the Team Leader according to requirement and development of company initiatives.


Requirements / Qualifications- Strong customer focus with a passion to need and exceed customer expectations- Significant experience in a similar blue-chip corporate travel environment- Strong communication skills - friendly, confident manner with all levels- Ability to build effective and trusting relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences others.- Experience of web-based booking tools and extensive knowledge of GDS systems- Extensive travel knowledge- Presentable, flexible with a desire to succeed- Can work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, changing environment whilst maintaining focus on key business goals and personal objectives- Problem solving and taking the initiative to identify current and potential problems and determines the best solution- The location for these roles are office based located in our Glasgow or Manchester sites.

Dutch-speaking consultants will also be considered on a work from home basis, nationwide.
