    We are looking for a new staff member to join our Volunteer Services team in the following position:

    Norfolk And Waveney Community Support Service – Volunteer Connector (North)

    hours per week over three to five days

    Volunteer Connectors are the Voluntary Norfolk face of an exciting new service, through volunteers and staff, the Norfolk and Waveney Community Support service will provide practical, short-term community support to people being discharged from hospital and living in the community. The service aims to help people through temporary issues or changes to keep them living safely in the community.

    Our Volunteer Connectors are passionate about the positive impact of volunteers in the community and will recruit, train and support volunteers to work with clients, improving client outcomes.

    We are looking for a volunteer connector who is passionate about the difference volunteers can make, enthusiastic about supporting clients as part of a wider team and knowledgeable about their local area. They will be confident with IT and remote working, dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting high quality volunteers, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and will enjoy helping others to achieve their goals and make a difference.

    Salary: £26,080 per annum pro-rata 37 hours per week

    Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025 with extension subject to recommissioning

    Base: Base tbc. Ability to travel is essential. This role is primarily to support in the north of Norfolk, although county wide travel may be needed. A hybrid working policy is in place.
