Seafield Veterinary Practice are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to expand our Veterinary team, we are looking for a confident and capable all-rounder who strives for high clinical standards in general practice.
The role will be split between consulting, operating and inpatient management, so a level of experience is required but not essential, as there will be a mentor available for you. We are expanding our Practice due to high demand and need to complement our already well-equipped team. We are open to consult only vets, or surgical only vets or a mix of both.
Rota patterns that work for you
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, that's why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career. The rota includes working 40 hours per week over 4 days. Full-time shifts are from 9:00am-6:00pm or 9:30am-6:30pm with 1 in 4 weekends and no out of hours.

The hub of our RCVS Accredited Practice in the center of Buckie which is fitted out with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, allowing our team to work to the high standards. We have a total of 3 branches in the area, which all have a great client base that is 50% insured and motivated to work up cases.
Located in the heart of Morayshire is a hearty mix of towns, rural and seaside villages and stunning countryside. With direct train links to the whole of the UK, some of the most amazing costal lines in the whole of the UK, if you are outdoor loving and looking for a new adventure then this is the location for you, with the work life balance and magnificent scenery, the location offers something for everyone.
Patients are managed to a high level with the support of our committed and talented team of Registered Veterinary Nurses. The quality of care doesn't stop at the end of the workday, as our dedicated team look after what we can or send to Vets Now and if all else fails, we a situated close to some of the best referral centers in the country.

Currently we have 10 FTE Vets, 8 Day Nurses, 3 VCA and a support team of friendly and professional receptionists, practice management and administrators.
