At Power Roll we are focused on delivering innovative solar energy solutions that don't cost the earth. Our solar film is unique, made from abundantly available materials and using low energy roll-to-roll production methods.

Our Process Technician's play a key role in operating and maintaining a range of equipment including roll to roll printing machines and laminators within our pilot plant, as well as supporting our scientists with screening and other testing.

Operating and maintaining our roll-to-roll printing and laminating equipment in line with standard operating procedures to deliver high quality solar films.

Operating printing equipment as part of our product fabrication, and testing the coating quality.
Inventory management and record keeping.

Training and support are available for new employees.

This will have given you the opportunity to get familiar with precision instruments, tools, and machinery, and preferably gained some experience in handling chemicals.

You'll be a team player, who can adapt to the changing priorities that working in a pilot plant brings with it.

You will have achieved NVQ level 3 / A-levels in science subjects or engineering, however, equivalent work experience is great too.

Basic Salary:
£24,000 to £31,000 dependant on relevant experience (plus shift premium of 12.5% for a 2 shift pattern of earlies and lates)
~25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the opportunity to purchase more.
