    Project Engineer

    Are you an experienced Hydraulics-biased Project engineer looking for a new challenge within a growing company?

    You will assist in the delivery of specific projects and work scopes being delivered by the service team both in an onshore and offshore capacity worldwide.

    You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects encompassing, but not limited to, the following: -

    Offshore

    Carry out project surveys.

    Carry out fault finding on equipment breakdowns.

    Supervise the installation and commissioning (including SAT) of hydraulic projects (including control system upgrades, crane load protection systems and hydraulic retrofits/upgrades

    Support hydraulics and field service team as required.

    Onshore-

    Preparation of technical documents- procedures, work packs and risk assessments

    Specification of materials and equipment

    Preparation of survey and breakdown reports

    Lead high-level reviews, prior to final issue, to ensure that the project work pack contains all the relevant instructions, procedures, drawings etc to enable the activity to be completed

    Involvement in the build and test of new build / upgrade projects

    Preparation of certification packs and manuals

    Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers when planning and executing projects

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

    Ability to problem solve

    Mentor crew members

    Deliver the organisational service delivery standards consistently

    Ability to undertake comprehensive pre and post-job briefs/toolbox talks

    Take personal accountability for your work and actions

    Ability to work effectively with others

    Qualifications/Training:

    Essential BOSIET/ FOET MIST Working at height

    Mechanical or hydraulic apprenticeship (or similar)

    Level 1 hydraulics training programme

    Level 2 hydraulics training programme

    BFPA H1 hydraulic competence assessment

    Extensive hands-on experience with hydraulic systems (specifically cranes)

    Appreciation of electrical / automation & control disciplines

    Good technical writing skills, and proficient use of MS Office applications

    • Desirable: CETOP competence-based hydraulics qualification – IH3/MH3
