    Reporting to the Flow Assurance Study Manager, the position will be to provide Flow Assurance analysis and technical support to the various projects undertaken by Genesis.

    The engineer will be part of the UK flow assurance team and the wider global flow assurance community.

    The engineer should be able to operate independently in performing and leading flow assurance studies and writing up results/reports, requiring limited if any, input and support from the team leader.

    The work performed will be varied and activities include front-end conceptual studies, detailed design, and operational support activities.

    The role will be to perform the flow assurance analysis to identify optimal solutions based on client drivers and be able to efficiently communicate these solutions through technical reports and presentations.

    The engineer will be responsible for the content and quality of all Flow Assurance work undertaken on their assigned projects.

    Awareness of the local flow assurance market is a key requirement.
    Liaising with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.
    ~ Developing engineering solutions to specific project requirements.
    ~ Undertaking calculations in accordance with Genesis and project quality requirements.
    ~ Participating in Project presentations to communicate results.
    ~ Ensuring completion of safe and operable design following Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations,
    ~Recognised flow assurance professional with upstream oil and gas experience.
    First Degree in Chemical Engineering (or related subject) and CEng &/or PEng or equivalent international qualifications.
    Experience in flow assurance conceptual and front-end studies.
    Experience in marketing and business development is beneficial, including awareness of the local flow assurance market.
    Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS Office software.
    Full command of the English language, verbal and written.
    Good report writing skills.
    Good communication, good networking ability, and excellent social skills.
    Creative and flexible nature.
