Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) is delivered by experienced, registered health care practitioners. It is a level of practice characterised by a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This is underpinned by a master's level award or equivalent that encompasses the four pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research, with demonstration of area specific clinical competence.
Solent NHS Mental Health service line currently has one ACP vacancy, for a professional from a nursing or AHP background, to deliver an advanced level of clinical practice within our adult psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU). The successful applicant will work within a multi-professional team, including nurse consultant, medics, nurses, support workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers and more to ensure that patients receive well rounded, holistic care to the highest standard.
