(HMFP) is seeking a residency trained and board certified or eligible orthopedic surgeon who will be the weekday primary resource and provider of care for patients who present in the Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth Hospital Emergency Department and on the inpatient areas and need the services of an orthopedist.

The selected candidate will also have an outpatient practice in general orthopedics, and for a surgeon with fellowship training as an opportunity to build a subspecialty practice.

The position will work in close collaboration with and have the support of the Division of Orthopedic Trauma from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), and as such will include an opportunity to apply for an appointment at HMS.

This is very dynamic position with a great deal of autonomy over daily practice with relaxed and flexible productivity and on-call requirements.
