    Description

    You'll be managing the delivery of security services on a high-profile contract in WWL. Through your security team, you'll provide the focus, direction and leadership required to ensure that security services are delivered to the highest of standards and in line with our client's specifications. The service delivery of Security management including providing focus, direction, and leadership to ensure that the site meets or exceeds the service quality expectations of our customer. Working in close union with a sub-ordinate team of team leaders you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the security operations team ensuring recruitment, training and administration requirements are maintained to the required standard.

    To ensure the smooth running of the security function within all trust sites meeting with the clients' daily expectations and the contract terms of agreement. Meeting with OCS management expectations and administration requirements of role. Working on a flexible basis meaning that all employees are regular met at work during their shifts making management presence at ad hoc times the norm rather than the exception. Ensure regular and good communications are maintained with the employees. Ensuring regular job chats, site Quality Safety Visits and toolbox talks are completed with the staff. Ensuring all documentation is correctly filed and up to date to meet with all auditing process not least OCS Group accreditations and Licences. Ensuring all AIs are kept up to date, maintained and regularly reviewed with the client and signed by all employees. To be the first point of contact for all daily issues evidencing prompt responses and solutions. To ensure that all Timegate change are communicated with the scheduler to ensure OCS correctly maintain records relating to any shift changes, holiday requests, blows outs. To maintain all ER on the site meeting with legislation and OCS policies.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Liaise with the management and the client on all aspects of the service delivery, responding to requests and complaints with accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance to the specified standards (KPI's and SLA's), legislation and safe working practices detailed within the site manual.
  • Implement and maintain security plans such as Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Public Space Surveillance, and Incident Management.
  • Manage staff throughout your teams to ensure a well-trained, highly motivated workforce, with a firm focus on staff development and succession planning. Professional Qualifications and Experience:
  • SIA Licence essential Both SG and CCTV, Maybo level 1 & 2
  • Experience of working in a busy environment & ability to be flexible in approach to working times to meet with the needs of the business. Working 5 over 7 days and changing working patterns to attend site at variable times meeting with all shifts at varied times to best benefit the client and the site needs.
  • Reporting and administration experience
  • Experience of managing a security team
