Description

A Global Technology Company based in London is seeking a Category Specialist to join their team on a contract basis until June 2023 initially.

A successful Category Specialist will be responsible for helping the Category Manager. This includes helping to drive the assortment, promotions, and relationships necessary to build upon their existing merchandising strategy.

Duties:

Support the Consumer Category Management team for Stores direct business.
Comp shopping and price tracking
Item/Product set up
Promo set up
Run and maintain a variety of reports to help analyse the business
Participate in regional calls across EMEA and WW to help run the business
Track and monitor technology blogs to ensure we are staying ahead of the curve on products and trends

Skills and experience:

Have worked in Retail Buying/Category management previously.
Demonstrated track record of driving results with integrity
Principled and transparent approach to decision making and communications
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across organisational boundaries
Passionate interest in technology and products
