    What You'll do (the role)

    SUMMARY

    As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst, your role will support the team in producing the analysis for strategic decision making and be responsible for business partnering with the budget holders and senior leadership to provide accurate information.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Support the FP&A function in providing robust financial analysis to enable the function to support senior management and the leadership team
  • Help the FP&A team translate project level inputs into its Group budgets and forecasts
  • Facilitate the management of the budget and forecast data within the core financial systems
  • Work with managers to forecast potential CAPEX spend per project
  • Play a role as a key communicator between finance and other teams across the organisation
  • Help lead the change in standardisation of monthly reporting techniques of the FP&A team
  • Assist in preparation of board and management packs for the leadership team as required
  • Assist the FP&A Director and Head of FP&A and wider business with any ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Who we're looking for

    EXPERIENCE

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional with 0 – 2 years post qualified experience
  • Experience with business intelligence tools
  • Experience to be able to translate complex data for non-financial audience
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to financial scenario modelling
  • Prior FP&A experience and headcount tracking experience and overheads would be beneficial
  • PERSONAL/WORK SKILLS

  • Highly organised individual with the ability to work on several projects at once
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to tell a story and go beyond the analysis
  • Strong investigatory and analytical approach with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid team player with a collaborative working style
  • Problem solving and proactive attitude
  • Fluency in English is essential
