Purpose of the role

To help our customers succeed, ClubWise ensures appropriate financial controls are in place in order to maintain a healthy balance sheet that supports the management of the business.

As Senior Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with the day to day bookkeeping of the business, updating our accounting system with the details of debtors, creditors and bank reconciliation for ClubWise UK and Australian subsidiary companies.

You will also be responsible for invoicing and customer distribution of funds. This this a temporary, 6 month contract.

Summary of the role

You will assist with the monthly invoicing of UK and Australia customers.
You will support the monthly disbursement of client funds through BACS payment scheduling.
You will be responsible for the processing of creditor invoices, including posting in the correct general ledger, organising payments and delivering reports to the Finance Manager.
You will assist with completing our UK VAT and Australian GST returns on a quarterly basis and the reconciliation of multicurrency bank accounts.
You will be responsible for being current on the latest Industry and Compliance requirements including FCA mandatory training in order to assist in the completion of Anti Money Laundering Checks and FCA compliance tasks.
You will support the Finance Manager with any financial administration activities as required.

Essential Skills and experience

Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial records management
Excellent record keeping, organisational skills and attention to detail
Good analytical, numerical reasoning and problem solving skills
Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills
Good communication skills both oral and written
Must be IT literate with excellent MS Excel skills
Ability to follow processes and procedures to ensure accuracy
Ability to work by yourself and as part of a Team with mínimal supervision
Previous experience in a similar role

Desirable Skills and Experience

An AAT financial qualification
Be competent in mandatory FCA Compliance modules
An interest and knowledge of the health and fitness Industry

Further details

This is a 6 month contract
This is a fulltime position of 40 hours per week (Monday
Friday)
It is a hybrid role with some time spent in the Princes Risborough office
