Head of EMEA Index Product Structuring and Solutions - MD

The Global Product Solutions (GPS) business was formed in January with an aim of unlocking new growth opportunities across iShares, Active and Private Markets, aligning our product strategies and working with clients to develop new and customized solutions that suit their needs.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join the Global Product and Solutions organisation as Head of EMEA Index Product Structuring and Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team responsible for building and delivering market leading innovation in index investing. Working across commercial and product development functions, the team is responsible for identifying and executing on new product opportunities relating to new fund structures across ETFs and Mutual funds, investment vehicles (SPVs), and separate accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Define the strategy around new product categories (derivatives-based ETFs, crypto, customized mandates) and lead project teams towards successful delivery and launch;
• Build strong relationships and gain alignment with key internal and external stakeholders;
• Lead the product development team by providing clear direction and focus while enabling flexibility and agility;
• Collaborate with the sales, product strategy and investment teams to evaluate potential investment options to ensure we deliver for our clients while meeting regulatory obligations
• Define and prioritize product features and functionalities to optimize client experience and improve market competitiveness.
• Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to different wrappers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in fund structuring in a sell side organisation;
• Proven track record of successful product development and stakeholder management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (including client-facing)
• Strong knowledge of fund and SPV structures, fund management best practices and regulations
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
