Excellent opportunity, starting in May 2024, for an experienced, part-time Recruitment Specialist to join Tropic's established HR team, on a 12-month contract, and drive forward recruitment best practice.


Job Purpose

Responsibilities

  • Actively headhunt for key roles, attracting top talent.
  • Oversee all job postings, analysing key metrics to ensure roles are reaching the target audience.
  • Monitor and review key recruitment metrics, through Tropic's Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to inform longterm recruitment strategy.
  • On occasion, engage with recruitment agencies and negotiate service/ fees where appropriate.
  • Support the onboarding process, maintaining a positive employee experience throughout.
  • Keep uptodate with recruitment best practice and Immigration law to maintain a proactive approach to talent acquisition.
  • Other adhoc HR related tasks as required.

Requirements:

Essential

  • A strong track record (minimum of 1 years' experience) of recruiting within the Biotechnology sector for permanent and contract hires.
  • Experience recruiting both technical and nontechnical roles, from entrylevel to Senior Management.
  • Full working knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle, including onboarding and right to work checks.
  • Confident in conducting competencystyle interviews.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with various stakeholders quickly.
  • Great organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines.
Desirable

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to monitor recruitment metrics.
  • International recruitment experience.
