Financial Controls and Reporting Manager


Salary:
£65,000 - £75,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions are proud to be working with a prestigious, highly respected bank as they seek to build out their finance team with the addition of a Financial Controls and Reporting Manager in London.

This role will provide the opportunity to get involved in exciting work in which you will play a role in developing the corporate strategy and developing the bank's financial position and reputation as well as designing and implementing new financial systemsas they undergo a revamp of these


Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reviewing the month end income, balance sheet and capital reporting for the bank
  • Lead on the production of the annual report and accounts process
  • Provide analysis and impact assessment on the Bank's statutory and internal reporting
  • Help shape and drive the implementation of new IT systems
  • Completion of daily/weekly profit and loss reports for assigned portfolios and working with front office to resolve any issues
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with extensive post qualification experience (ideally in financial services)
  • Strong knowledge of financial control, statutory reporting and IFRS
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel and the ability to learn new systems and processes
