    In this exciting new role, you'll provide strategic leadership, vision and direction for Community Safety and Resilience and Emergency Planning in line with the Council's Thrive Agenda, Health and Wellbeing Strategy and other key priorities.

    Working closely with our Director of Public Health, Directorates across the Council and our external partners, you will lead and develop a public health approach to crime and community safety, enabling healthier, safer, and resilient communities in Gateshead.

    You'll bring extensive experience of multi-agency / partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies at a senior management level and strategic experience in local, regional and national policy, community safety and resilience matters.
