About the Role:

GP Healthcare Alliance (a federation of GP practices in Castle Point and Rochford) is working in partnership with the local Primary Care Networks to support the delivery of the NHS England, Direct Enhanced Service (DES) contract.

We are looking to recruit a PCN Paramedic to work alongside member practices within Rochford District Primary Care Network (PCN).

This is a bank/locum position.

This role will be a core member of the multidisciplinary team, working alongside other professionals, including Clinical Pharmacists, pharmacy technician, physician associates, mental health practitioners etc.

This role will focus on acutely unwell patients who may not require a hospital admission with prompt assessment and treatment at home.

The appropriate individual will be a qualified paramedic with experience in an acute response/emergency setting.

You will need to be confident to triage, take comprehensive history, examine, diagnose and treat/refer for a range of minor injuries/illnesses/infections as required.

Working knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous as would experience of ordering and interpreting tests on ICE.
