- Being responsible for the firms approach to procurement
- Managing the supply chain risk
- Ensuring suppliers provide services consistent with requirements i.e cyber and information security, business continuity, and commercial risk
- Providing contract and professional compliance advice for client tenders
- Advising stakeholders on the SRA code of conduct, and data & commercial risk management issues
Essential skills:
- Over 5 years post qualified experience
- Commercial law background with significant exposure to data protection law, with a background in non-contentious commercial/contracting/procurement work
- Ability to be committed to the commercial imperatives of managing a supply chain in the face of both the clients and stakeholder expectations
- Strong client and matter management skills
Desirable skills:
- Private practice or an inhouse legal team experience
- Motivated and passionate about being at the forefront of understanding emerging technology and market trends
