    HGV Technician Position at Leeds

    Company offering a salary of up to £42,000 for this role with work hours from Monday 8:00 to 4:30 Friday, totaling 42.5 hours per week. An opportunity is available for a skilled HGV Technician to join the client's workshop in Leeds.

    The selected individual will be tasked with diagnosing, fixing, and maintaining different vehicles, specifically trucks and vans.

    Proficiency in automotive systems is essential, along with the capability to utilize diagnostic tools and software to tackle intricate issues.

    The preferred candidate will exhibit a genuine affection for automobiles and a dedication to delivering top-notch service.


    Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician:

    • Identifying and resolving vehicle problems encompassing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical matters
    • Conducting routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake assessments
    • Applying diagnostic tools and software to tackle complex issues in HGVs

    Requirements for the HGV Technician Role:

    • Must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician
    • Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools and software
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities
    • Exceptional communication and customer service aptitudes
