Join us as a Wind Turbine Technician in Wind Power Service and Operations as part of our expanding teams in Scotland.

Together with your colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our currently supported Technologies/Platforms, positively contributing to our safety culture, and working with our engineering specialists to enhance wind farm performance.

Reporting to the Operational Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver maintenance services to Vestas V52 and Gamesa G52 series turbine projects in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines.

Knowledge of other wind technologies will be a plus.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesUndertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicingCarry out corrective maintenance:
fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all turbine systems which will include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembliesProactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of turbine availabilityProvide out of hours and weekend response to turbine breakdownEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirements including the WTSRAssist in providing solutions to the Technical ManagerJob RequirementsService Engineer with Vestas or Gamesa backgroundTroubleshooting and Fault Finding experienceComputer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsWilling to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short noticeParticipates in an on-call scheduleValid UK driver's license and acceptable driving recordWe offerPermanent jobPensions schemeLife assurance coverPrivate health insuranceSick paySalary conditions according to experience
