    Description
    Our client in High Blantyre is looking for a Warehouse Operative, The key tasks will be to Pick and pack orders accurately to approved quality standards in set times to meet customer expectations.
    Maintain a high level of safe working and housekeeping within your working environment.

    Key Duties:
    • Unload goods/projects from third party transport suppliers using forklifting equipment when required
    • Ensure all goods are checked in, labelled and stored correctly
    • Ensure quantities are correct and report any discrepancies
    • Ensure products received incorrectly from suppliers are returned in the correct manner
    • Neatly arrange stock in location, sequence and in designated areas
    • Keep warehouse tidy, organised & clean
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of staff
    • Load goods using lifting gear (forklift licence an advantage but not necessary)
    • Goods Receiving ensuring all deliveries and associated paperwork are accurate
    • Process goods accurately using Inventory Management software (SAGE).
    • To pick, pack and despatch daily orders accurately and to set timelines.
    • Comply with H&S within the workplace and follow company rules and procedures.
    • Carry Out physical inventory counting to ensure stock accuracy reporting all anomalies to your Line Manager
    • A high level of flexibility and commitment will be required, as you will be working as part of a small team and at times maybe required to work unsupervised.
    • Actively participate in and understand 5S Audits and the need to constantly evolve as the business changes
    • Maintain and Develop your current skill set to ensure you give yourself every opportunity to progress within Record UK
    • Loading doors and frames onto A-Frames
    • Picking loose metal to go with doors
    Terms:
    • £11.44 per hour
    • Monday to Friday
    • 39 hrs a week
    • 7:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday
    • 7:30 - 15:00 Friday
    • 30 minutes unpaid lunch
