THE OPPORTUNITY

Sii UK are hiring for a role of System Engineer with vast experience of DOORS. This role requires a candidate who has not only worked with DOORS in the past, but who has been a super-user or an Admin.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

To excel in this role, you should possess experience in the following:

• DOORS
• Creation of requirements and lifecycle.

TASKS:

The primary activities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

• The tasking will include creating formal baselines from the database and performing the necessary, independent quality checks on the data output by use of existing scripts or by direct review.
• Where appropriate, performing data mining and analysis on the technical items within the database.
• Supporting the Perm staff member in holding Change Reviews and incorporation of changes into the database.
• Supporting (or even performing) the Requirements and Validation team in generating and approving technical requirements.
• Familiarity with Rational DOORS tool with focal/admin experience in running DXL scripts.
• Understanding of the Systems Requirement derivation process and importance of change control and management.
