If so, Moxie People is proud to be supporting a leading Housing Association in the Southwest, as they look to hire a People Advisor. This is a great opportunity to join the People team, on a FTC until March 2025 (initially).

Role: People Advisor

Salary: c. £28,500 per annum

Location: Hybrid & flexible working – must be able to reach offices within the Southwest region when necessary

Duration: Fixed term until March 2025 (initially)

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, the People Advisor is responsible for providing a proactive and effective HR advisory service to colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Offering proactive HR advisory services to colleagues and leaders, ensuring awareness of relevant policies and processes.
• Be the first point of contact for routine ER related enquiries; responding to requests and allocating cases as appropriate
• Developing and managing strong relationships with all levels of the organisation, promptly addressing queries and managing expectations.
• Providing support and coaching to leaders on employee relations issues and case management, including attending meetings and managing correspondence.
• Assisting in HR projects and supporting People Hub operations as needed.

What you'll need:

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working within a HR generalist position within a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of GDPR and employment legislation, and how this translates into practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
• Previous experience of Housing related sector (desirable)
• Experience with HR Information Systems (i.e., iTrent or Dynamics HR), SharePoint and Service Now (desirable)
