We are looking to recruit two procurement professionals to join our Supply Chain Management team.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Procurement the successful applicants will join a team focussed on our hydrogen technologies business where our mission is to support our customers in transitioning to a more sustainable world, based on innovative technologies and our ability to turn ideas into reality.

Your role covering core procurement activities to ensure they are executed in line with the applicable Siemens and Customer standards.

Your profile

  • Experience and understanding of core procurement activities, ideally in a technical or project based environment
  • A strong blend of commercial and technical acumen
  • Knowledge and experience of working to stringent technical quality standards
  • A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability
  • Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders working to challenging deadlines
  • Able to communicate clearly with people at all levels, both internal and external to Siemens Energy.
  • Selfmotivated, flexible and can work under pressure on their own initiative
  • SAP experience would be preferred

Your responsibilities

  • Supplier sourcing, qualification and performance management
  • Negotiating supplier contracts
  • Procurement of mechanical and electrical hardware
  • Day to day management and execution of purchase orders including expediting hardware & software deliverables with a particular focus on quality documentation
  • To act as Commodity lead for specified commodities, with the objective of securing best value solutions.
  • Comply with Procurement policies and Strategic Procurement initiatives, inline with business requirements and strategies.
