    About the Role

    Lime Hub is a day service based in the central area of Liverpool. It aims to meet the needs of a range of individuals with varying different needs, such as people with complex health care needs, people with complex learning disabilities, people with complex physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment.

    We are committed to working in a person-centered way to plan and provide support to all service users accessing the service. The service is designed to meet the needs of adults with more complex needs through individual reablement/support/care plans and activities such as hydrotherapy and rebound Therapy amongst other opportunities such as working in the onsite café.

    As a Reablement Assistant at Lime Hub your role will include:

  • Meeting the physical, social and emotional needs of service users as agreed in care plans, to promote independence and enhance their living skills.
  • Assisting service users with tasks as agreed in support plans.
  • Working with individuals to improve and maintain daily living skills, using appropriate equipment whenever required.
  • Providing support 1-1 or in a group situation with onsite and community-based activities
  • Provide support in administering medication whilst in the community but also to individual service users who require medication (and in some cases Nutrition) via Mic-key button.
  • Provide closer support for service users who may challenge.
  • Providing support with specific therapy led programs such as Hydrotherapy (exercise in a heated pool) and Rebound Therapy (supporting service users to move on a trampoline)
