Business Development Representative /Account Manager

Working with the Sales and Marketing Director, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing high level, relationships within clients in the education, NHS, Local Authorities and corporate sectors to identify potential businessopportunities that can be converted into sales.

As part of the role, you will be also responsible for writing proposals and delivering presentations to win business. Preparing and delivering winning presentations to clients.

Targeting and prospecting customers; obtaining, communicating, and identifying opportunities, competitive information, customer needs. Implementation of comprehensive sales strategies and objectives of the company and accomplish personal development and trainingobjectives.


Your responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility for Sales & Business Development with customers / markets with growth potential
  • Gain knowledge ofProducts, solutions and services offering to customers and its value to them.
  • Build and promote strong, longlasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Management of leads generated from the company's marketing efforts.
  • Achieve growth and hit company sales targets by successfully managing the sales cycle.
  • Achieve a high conversation rate of sales quotes/proposal sent to customers
  • Generating new leads and sales opportunities by asking for referral from clients/customers
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' requirements and needs.
  • Provide bespoke solutions as and when required.
  • Identify potential new customers and new market opportunities while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Maintain commercial awareness that has a significant impact on the business. Keep upto date on competing products in the market.
  • Stay up to date on new product launches and ensure communications are sent to customers.
  • Maintain solid customer service attitude and resolve client's issues and any escalations and negotiation skills.

Minimum Requirements for the role:

  • Must have advanced computer skills
  • Minimum 1 year of fulltime sales experience
  • Inside sales experience a plus
  • CRM experience
  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, or business/customer relations.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Motivation, drive and a selfstarting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet their needs with a successful product sale
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Good understanding of the Digital Technology
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
