2 Sisters Food Group are seeking a driven and diligent Internal Auditor to join an established technical team at our Pizza operation in Nottingham.

About The Role:


Reporting into the Technical Services Manager, the Internal Auditor will be responsible for carrying out robust internal audits throughout the year to assess compliance with manufacturing standards and customer requirements as well as identifying areas of continuous improvement and non-conformity.

The role will also ensure effective close out of any non-conformances raised through internal audits.

The Internal Auditor will be expected to:

  • Actively promote a safe culture, ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met.
  • Carry out internal audits as per audit schedule and nonscheduled audits as and when required.
  • Be aware of and understand internal audit requirements.
  • Carry out internal audits to capture all working patterns including evenings and weekends.
  • Conduct investigations to conclusion, identifying root causes of noncompliance.
  • Ensure effective close out of nonconformances raised.
  • Identifying procedures or processes that are not effective. Implement corrective action and communicate to relevant parties in timely manner.
  • Build and develop effective working relationships with production colleagues.

About You:

To succeed in this Internal Auditor role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous Technical experience within Food Manufacturing, ideally with chilled products.
  • Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP.
  • Demonstrable experience of audits
  • Lead Auditor qualification would be preferable.
  • Root cause analysis and nonconformance management experience
  • Working knowledge of food legislation, BRC and customer standards
  • Good understanding of document control
  • The ability to understand and follow site procedures and write basic technical procedures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A good understanding of creating documentation and presentations.
