    Events Technician with CSCS + Driving License
    Location: Crewe (With UK travel required)
    Salary: £11.00ph + further allowances

    Working Hours:
    Mon - Thurs 8am to 4:30pm
    Friday - 8am to 3:30pm
    Weekends (As and when required)

    We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading international business, who design, manufacture and fabricate their products here in the UK. With a focus on large scale events, the client works with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

    The Role:
    As an Events Technician you will be required to assist with the transportation of stock to various locations around the sites that the company is operating at. Often this consists of being at the venue for a few days/week(s) at a time to ensure the build-up goes smoothly. You will be tasked with erecting the stages/seating for venues. This is a hands-on role where you will be required to use hand tools and specialist equipment. Further to the above:
    • Installing and servicing flip up seats (as in the cinema)
    • Assembling and deconstruction of staging equipment according to plans
    • Delivery of parts to site
    • Long distance travelling
    • Promoting safe working practices and H&S awareness
    • Securing components with bolts and screws to spec
    • Ability to work under direction and as part of a team
    Our ideal candidate:
    We are looking for someone who is "hands on", this is a manual role and would suit someone that isn't afraid heavy lifting and working to tight deadlines. You will have experience with hand tools such as, rachets, spanners allen keys etc. We are also looking for the following/skill sets
    • Practical experience within Mechanical Engineering/Technical background
    • Qualification in electrical installation advantageous
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- team player and able to develop excellent working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
    • Valid driving license essential, forklift truck licence advantageous
    • Willing to travel and work away for long periods (and weekends as required)
    • IT literacy
    • Good administration skills
    • CSCS card holder
    • Supervisory construction 2 day course (SSTS) - Advantageous
    There is strong potential for this to become a permanent position
