- Test Development: Develop and implement hardware and software testing to support the development efforts of various teams.
- Establish Gold Standard Arena: Lead the establishment of a state-of-the-art environment, setting the gold standard for continuous testing of our robots. This environment will be critical for evaluating autonomy and data capture
- Data Capture and Benchmarking: Capture and analyze data during testing to benchmark performance metrics.
- Procedure Standardization: Develop and document clear and standardized to assess robot performance across different areas, including data capture, and platform functionality.
- Production Release Approval: Assume responsibility for approving software releases. Ensure that software is thoroughly tested and meets the required quality and reliability standards before deployment.
- Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and a streamlined workflow for software versioning.
- Release Candidate Cadence: Implement a regular release candidate cadence to a predictable software release cycle.
- Support for Other Teams: Work closely with other teams to conduct area-specific assess new features, and approve bug fixes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software and hardware testing, validation, and quality assurance, a strong track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile robotics, autonomy, and data capture technologies.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
