Logistics and Distribution Planning Manager
South of Leicester

Leading homeware company is looking for an experienced Logistics and Distribution Manager for their busy warehouse and distribution environment.

Managing a team of people you will be responsible for managing the distribution process from beginning to end, focussing on achieving logistics and supply chain objectives and customer satisfaction around OTD / On-time delivery.

Size wise - we are talking about 50 deliveries / collections per week but with the capability to expand and cover busier times of year.

You will work with different departments on stock mapping efficiency, segmenting the stock and updating the systems, inventory management and warehouse solutions.

You will also be responsible for analysing production and logistics capacity across the distribution network.

You will come from a similar role and be an excellent manager within the distribution and logistics sector.

You will lead by example and still be "hands on", having been there and done that in the warehouse environment.

You ill come from a similar size of environment, 50 or so deliveries / collections per week and a team of people covering office and warehouse staff.

You will have excellent understanding of warehouse logistics, distribution and supply chain processes, able to balance commercial and operational needs.
