    BESS Field Service Engineer (SAP) - Travel to onsite in Sunderland - North East Region - £Excellent Package - 115Kv - 500Kv

Further expansion and global demand for their market leading renewable energy solutions has seen unprecedented global growth and the requirement to recruit a Field Service Engineer specialising in ESS.

    Responsibilities

    • Carrying out annual PPM checks, annual capacity tests and reactive works.
    • Responsible for always working in a safe manner.
    • Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers.
    • Keep up to date with any administrative duties such as time sheets, daily vehicle checks and providing daily job logs and reports, describing issues and actions taken during the service trips.
    • Troubleshoot equipment located at customer sites.
    • Perform start-up and commissioning services at customer locations (SAT).
    • Assist the in-house system engineering group in product development and or project work.
    • Provide suggestions based on field experiences to improve products.
    • Site travel between various locations within your area and with weekly visits to the office in Sunderland.
    • Training from the BESS company experts.

    Skills Required

    • H & S knowledge and experience within electrical installation projects (RAMS / SHEQ /CDM).
    • Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting / Construction environment.
    • Desirable knowledge of electrical works BS7671 such as renewables, Battery storage Electric Vehicle Charge Pont, PV, Installations etc.
    • Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting / Construction environment.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Packages.
    • Able to organize and priorities to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Excellent problem solving.
    • Full UK driving license.

    The initial site location will be in the Middlesbrough region to undergo the onsite training and to work along side the project team whilst having the hands on training.
