- Preparing, Servicing, Testing and Modifying Assets Control and electrical equipment to ensure the assets can be delivered to a high quality, reliability, and compliance standard.
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing industry standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Workshop floor presence to supervise the Controls team and freelance crew, as required.
- Deputise for the Asset Operations Manager where required.
- Work with the department Management team to coach and develop the Controls team.
- Accountable for implementing and maintaining departmental SOPs and checklists.
- Be responsible for the satisfactory delivery of Control assets to integration.
- Manage agreed assets prep, taking ownership of the role, and always being proactive, ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are met.
- Interpret technical drawings and maintain and deliver Control assets.
- Carry out inspections and required testing to maintain the Control assets stock ready to rent.
- Contribute to NCR investigations and efforts to mitigate any issues.
- Collaborate and efficiently communicate with other departments to deliver projects.
- Maintain tools, work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
- Maintaining technical knowledge through training and mentorship.
- Occasionally travel to complete site work as required by projects.
- Identify and propose ideas and solutions to improve TAIT assets' build quality or efficiency.
- Use Rentalworks or other asset management systems to keep current and accurate records.
- Lead best practices regarding workshop QHSE and participate in company QHSE meetings as required
- A good all-around general education.
- Knowledge of hand tools, workshop machinery, and accurate record keeping.
- Able to read schematic drawings.
- Experience working in a Control Engineering environment and performing maintenance tasks.
- Two years experience in a supervisory role.
