Are you an experienced event coordinator seeking a temporary role with a hybrid work pattern? Do you excel at managing complex logistics and facilitating exceptional customer experiences? Signature Recruitment is thrilled to recruit for a Senior Events Officer for our client, a leading London university.
This temporary assignment starts immediately and will run for 4 months. It offers hybrid flexibility with 2 days on campus and 3 days working from home. There will be with occasional requirements to be on campus for programme delivery.
As Senior Events Officer, you'll play a key role within the Executive Education team, supporting an expanding portfolio of courses.
From organising in-person activities to coordinating with stakeholders for online modules, your efforts will directly contribute to the school's commitment to delivering an exceptional learning environment and enhancing the student journey.
Senior Events Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the administration and logístical aspects of a range of courses, including room bookings, catering, AV arrangements, and coordination with venue staff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development and delivery of online modules, ensuring a seamless participant experience.
- Schedule and plan activities in conjunction with course directors, external contributors, and senior delivery managers.
- Create and manage course rooms, compile reading lists, and oversee the purchase of teaching resources.
- Set up and manage online course rooms using platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Communicate with participants before programmes start, and serve as the primary point of contact, offering timely and accurate responses.
Senior Events Officer Key Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in event management, with experience in an educational setting being an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint, and experience in Zoom facilitation.
- Keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on providing a professional and efficient participant experience.
