    Head of Talent Acquisition Admiral
    Cardiff (Hybrid)

    Following expansion across our People and Talent functions, we are now seeking to hire an established Head of Talent Acquisition to own, shape and deliver the full end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for our UK Business.

    This is a pivotal role joining at a key period of development for a market leading, FTSE100 financial services business, where you will set the vision, lead the team, embed the methodology and drive the evolution of our Talent Acquisition function over the medium to long term.

    Admiral is a leading FTSE100 Financial Services business with a presence in eight countries.

    The company was set up in Cardiff in 1993 as a Motor insurance specialist, but since then the business has expanded across other countries and insurance verticals such as Household, Travel, Pet and Business insurance, as well as diversifying into other financial services products in the form of personal loans and car finance via Admiral Money which was launched in 2017.

    More recently in 2021, the business set up a new venture building business focussed on long term diversification and emerging consumer needs called Admiral Pioneer.

    7 million customers worldwide and employs over 11,000 people across its operations, including 7,500 people in the UK.

    Admiral is a growth story with an enviable track-record of strong financial performances, with ROE consistently over 35%, a turnover of £4.8 bn and a profit before tax of £443m in 2023.

    Head of Talent Acquisition

    Our Talent Acquisition team are part of our People department and sit within the wider Talent function which is responsible for hiring and developing talented people.

    You will develop and drive the delivery of the talent acquisition strategy, whilst building the capability to achieve it and ensure its alignment with the overall vision of the business and People strategy.

    You will be accountable for the entire Talent Acquisition process, including Business Partnering, sourcing candidates, building talent pipelines to onboarding, and you will play a key role in shaping our workforce to meet Admiral UKs objectives.

    You will be responsible for the evolution of the Talent Acquisition function providing coaching, guidance and leadership to the management team, driving the delivery of a critical and cohesive service across the business.

    You will take a leading role progressing TA capability, transformation of supporting technology and processes to enhance candidate experience and to improve efficiency and ways of working for the Talent Team and hiring managers.

    An established Head of Talent Acquisition with experience of owning, shaping and delivering Talent Acquisition strategies for large, consumer facing regulated businesses.

    A Head of Talent Acquisition with demonstrable and sustained experience of leading and driving large scale talent acquisition campaigns across all types of permanent disciplines, including Volume, Corporate, Specialist and Leadership recruitment.

    Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business objectives into talent acquisition plans and actions and the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive success.

    Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
    Creative and innovative approach, with the ability to design and implement effective employer branding and candidate attraction strategies.
    Hands-on experience with various ATS', sourcing, screening and assessment tools and platforms.
    Knowledge of the latest talent acquisition trends, best practices, and legal regulations.
