The role


As an MPS Service Engineer, you will be located at one of our corporate clients based in Bristol (an independent UK based legal firm).

You will be client facing and be responsible for servicing and maintaining the clients Multi-Functional Devices (MFD) andprinters based at the client's premises.


In addition, the client operates across a variety of locations throughout London and Edinburgh, so remote liaison will also be necessary in this role.


Your responsibilities as an MPS Service Engineer will be:

  • To service and maintain the machine fleet in line with the client's requirements
  • Focus on the Legal Support / Print Room facility to ensure essential function always fully operational
  • To escalate any issues back to the office so that they can be rectified as early as feasibly possible
  • Plan and selfmanage your calendar in accordance with the jobs outstanding, and SLA's. Producing regular reports to client management on status of all machines
  • Keep onsite stock levels maintained and up to date for the machines covered
  • Provide preventative maintenance when required and plan these around normal daily EM calls.
  • There may be occasions where you will be required to assisting the Legal Support function during high demand times, carrying out a variety functions such as processing the onsite deliveries received

About you

  • You will demonstrate experience of servicing and maintaining Multi-Function Devices and Printers
  • You will have a genuine care and passion for customer service with excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • You will enjoy working in an environment where you have the ability to work both as part of team and individually
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and selfmotivation
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Have a flexible approach to work with the ability adapt to an ever changing environment
