Part-time Variable Lecturer – BSL
Rate of Pay : £19.32 to £23.82 per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay
Campus: Gardyne
We are seeking to recruit a Supply Lecturer in BSL to join our highly qualified, professional ELTT department. The teaching duties for the post will include teaching on our BSL programmes across a range of levels from introductory classes to SQA accredited qualifications at SCQF Level 4 and 5.
The role involves delivering high quality teaching and learning, assessment of student work, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, student achievement and all associated administration. There will be a requirement to work evenings.
Candidates should have at the minimum a BSL qualification at SCQF Level 6 (or equivalent) along with relevant teaching experience.
The College will consider applications from teachers at all career stages and is committed to providing professional development, mentorship and support to its staff.
If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
