Role: IT Asset & Procurement Manager

Location: Glasgow, Scotland – Hybrid

Net Talent are partnered with one of Glasgow's best success stories who specialise in global facilities management, to help source an IT Asset & Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• The IT Asset & Procurement Manager will lead the asset team and hold responsibility for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the organisation together with associated asset cost management.
• Planning, monitoring, and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
• The individual will assist in forming procurement strategies to optimise technology spend across the organisation.
• The IT Asset Manager will also work alongside other IT & business leaders to develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets and costs to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles.

Ideal experience:

• SAM Practitioner
• Specific experience evaluating, recommending, selecting and managing technology partners and their services / solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud compute, collaboration, database, data protection, device management, network, comms & telephony, operating systems, storage and virtualisation
• Experience evaluating or implementing cloud solutions, capacity management, metering and chargeback and self-service capability
• Experience in scoping, planning and managing complex and concurrent activities.
• Experience with business requirements gathering and analysis
