Main purpose of the role
This is a significant leadership role. The post holder will undertake the strategic pastoral and academic lead for a named Year group.
The post holder must possess the ability to effectively utilise data in order to make informed tactical decisions that align with the requirements of the specific year group and demonstrate operational leadership
The post holder will lead a team of form tutors. They will provide leadership and support to enable them to thrive in their roles, develop professionally and effectively contribute to the school's core purpose.
The post holder will work with tutors, the wider pastoral team and SLT to provide efficient and effective support and challenge enabling all pupils to flourish.
The postholder will therefore be responsible for ensuring that the Year Team contributes to the school's aspiration for all pupils to find their purpose and thrive as citizens of the world.
