    The role:

    An exciting opportunity to join British Airways on a 12-month FTC as a Lounge Development Manager has arisen

    You will be accountable for leading the delivery of our new lounge design concept across new build lounges and across our existing portfolio of operated lounges, through an agreed lounge refresh programme.

    What you'll do:

  • Deliver new lounge build projects on time and to budget, ensuring they remain aligned to the lounge design brief.
  • Manage business cases to secure funding for a wide range of capital investment projects.
  • Track commercial performance to ensure it remains within budget and additional expenditure is mitigated where possible.
  • Drive procurement processes to secure the best experience for our customers at sustainable costs.
  • There is an expectation that you will undertake adhoc work on an exceptional basis.
  • The role holder must be able to travel internationally, as required.
  • What you'll bring to British Airways:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully with a variety of internal and external partners to develop and deliver successful strategies and customer propositions.
  • Customer-focused and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Good supplier management experience.
  • Your experience:

  • Significant experience leading at a senior level in a complex organisation.
  • Experience leading design and construction projects, preferably within an airline, is desirable.
  • Qualification and/or relevant experience in an airside and/or hospitality field.
