The Sales Support Executive has a view of so much of the business making it a varied and high visibility role.


The role would allow you to build relationships at all levels, and to be involved within teams dealing with strategic accounts.

Sales Support is a good entry point into Infinity Group, having a number of possible career pathways opening up from it, from Sales to Technical services.


What skills and working characteristics should this person have?:

  • Computer literacy, comfortable with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent phone manner and customer focus.
  • Process driven.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls and routing to relevant salesperson
  • Scheduling meetings, sales appointments and gathering updates from the sales team
  • Managing smaller customer accounts in the pool, following up opportunities with customers and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses
  • Customer contract uplifting
  • Managing customer support renewals
  • Managing service board tickets and routing to relevant team members
  • Consulting with finance on any invoicing queries
  • Logging and tracking latest sales leads
  • Placing customer orders with the procurement team
  • Supporting the sales team with building sales proposals
  • Supporting account managers with account planning
  • Keeping the CRM up to date with sales figures, metrics, meeting notes and other relevant information for accurate reporting
  • Assisting the Sales Support Manager with reporting for weekly and monthly sales meetings
  • Supporting the Sales & Account Managers to ensure the smooth running of the sales & marketing department.
  • Ensuring the sales pipeline is kept up to date.
  • Data integrity of CRM
  • Lead & opportunity management
  • Account management of transactional accounts
  • General sales administration
