My client is a leading FMCG manufacturing organisation with an impressive history and a fantastic reputation within the industries they serve.

They are looking to add an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their site on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Fault finding on PLC systems
  • General electrical / mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities
  • Working closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teams
  • Supporting colleagues with project work

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A time served apprenticeship, with an electrical bias
  • Experience of electrical maintenance gained in the manufacturing sector
  • Experience of fault finding on PLC systems
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
You must be flexible to working an oncall rota

This position will be Monday - Friday dayshift
