About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Facilities Management business, based in Chester.

With several hundreds of employees, they maintain a strong presence in the market and are known for their commitment to quality service and a high standard of professionalism.


The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the finance team in maintaining and updating financial records
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Allocating cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Query resolution
  • Financial administration

The Successful Applicant:


The successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • AAT L2 or above (desirable)
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
