Part-time; 17.5 hours/week
**Fixed Term; 13 months

This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly-established Centre for Investing Innovation based within the Edinburgh Futures Institute, designed to create high-value impact and innovation for the future through collaborative research and partnership across a fusion of disciplines.

We are looking for an experienced administrator who will work closely with the Centre Director and Co-Director, the Centre Manager and colleagues based at the global asset management company abrdn, to support the portfolio of activities led by the Centre.


The Opportunity:


The post holder will provide general administrative support to the Centre Manager and the Director and other key staff and more specifically will be responsible for coordinating events and their promotion; organising meetings, and contributing to the online presence of the Centre through its website and social media.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A confident, proactive customer focussed approach to work, with an ability to manage own workload and use initiative,
  • Demonstrable planning and organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines,
  • Experience of producing web, social media and communications content Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
